Ever since Kitra came out, it has been a smash hit. Readers of all ages fell in love with the diverse cast, the riproaring adventure, the stellar setting, and, of course, Pinky’s jokes.
We’ve always been proud of the Kitra Saga, especially since it has been illustrated since the beginning by Lorelei Esther, the youngest Hugo Finalist in history! And while her work has always been great, it has only gotten better over the years.
In fact, she is such a perfectionist, that she decided to redo all of the illustrations for Kitra, as she had always been dissatisfied with how the pencil art reproduced in printing. The new ones are in pen, same as she did for Sirena and Hyvilma.
